Twin XL Mattresses
Twin XL, or extra long, is the most common mattress size found in college dorms. The additional 5" in length (compared to a twin sized mattress) accommodates taller sleepers. Twin XL mattresses fit comfortably in smaller rooms because they take up minimal space.
Pros: 80" length allows taller individuals to sleep comfortably. Takes up little space in a bedroom.
Cons: Twin width not suited for couples. Bedding has limited options and availability, and may be difficult to find.
